Dr. Kavita Bhat Kumar.
Dr. Kavita Bhat Kumar has built Designer Smiles into one of Vile Parle East's most trusted dental practices, bringing 30+ years of experience since 1995. Her training goes well beyond a standard dental degree: she trained in aesthetic dentistry in Germany, completed specialized training in soft and hard tissue lasers at the University of Bonn, and holds a diploma in healthcare management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She is a member of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry, a Life Member of the ISOI (Indian Society of Oral Implantologists), and has held office within the Indian Dental Association, the body that sets ethical and clinical standards for dentists across India.
Her work has been formally recognised more than once, the Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Award (Highly Commended, Clinic of the Year 2021), Best Practising Dentist of the Year 2020 and Excellence in Clinical Dentistry 2020 from the Indian Healthcare Professionals Awards, and the title of Iconic Dental Health Expert 2021 from Times Applaud. She also regularly conducts seminars and workshops and has written for newspapers and dental publications.
